Bumpa Built Wows Enfield with 3D Magic, Kindness, and Creativity at the 4th of July Celebration

This past weekend, the Enfield 4th of July Celebration was buzzing with excitement, and right in the heart of it all was the Bumpa Built pop-up shop. Visitors of all ages stopped by our booth to explore a vibrant collection of 3D printed fidgets, games, animals, and unique home décor—all designed to inspire creativity and hands-on fun.

The star of the show? A towering 3-foot-tall T-Rex named Herbert who greeted guests with prehistoric charm and quickly became the most photographed dinosaur in town. Herbert stood proudly among our display, drawing in crowds and showing off the scale and creativity that 3D printing makes possible.

Saturday was all about the kids, as we hosted a completely FREE activity that let children choose a mini articulating animal and paint it however they liked. From rainbow dragons to sparkly frogs, kids left with personalized creations and big smiles. It was a joy to watch creativity run wild and introduce a new generation to the magic of making.

On Sunday, our booth got an extra boost of heart thanks to Barrett, one of our very own Bumpa Academy students. With his natural enthusiasm and pride in being a maker, Barrett helped explain what Bumpa Built is all about while selling his own handmade Jash Kindness Keychains. These special items were created in honor of Jash Martinez, a kind and creative soul from our community who tragically passed away. Proceeds from the keychains are being used to spread kindness in Jash’s name—a beautiful reminder of how creativity and compassion go hand in hand.

If you stopped by our booth and loved what you saw, you’re invited to keep the inspiration going. Visit our store anytime at 48 South Road in Somers, CT, where you can shop our full line of 3D printed creations, sign up for a class, or even design your own project from scratch. Whether you’re a curious kid, a creative adult, or just looking for something fun and meaningful to do, there’s always something new to discover at Bumpa Built.
