Last Thursday, we opened the doors at Bumpa Built to some of our favorite partners—the local business owners who participated in our May Mini Mania scavenger hunt—for a special evening of creativity, conversation, and custom 3D printing.
The event, hosted at our makerspace in Somers, CT, was all about saying thank you and showing what Bumpa Built is all about. From teaching the basics of 3D design and printing to sharing the fun we bring to kids and adults alike through our STEM workshops, this night was packed with inspiration and connection.
The highlight of the evening? Watching each business owner (and their guests!) bring their unique ideas to life as custom 3D printed creations. Whether it was a logo-themed keychain, a creative tool for their shop, or a fun keepsake—they left with something they dreamed up and helped make themselves.
But the real magic happened in the conversations. We got to learn what’s working for other small businesses in our area, hear about challenges they’re facing, and brainstorm ways we can support each other. That’s what Bumpa Built is all about—community over competition, and the belief that the more we collaborate, the more we all thrive.
This event was just one more step in growing a strong, creative, and connected local business community in Somers, CT and beyond. We’re so grateful for the partnerships formed through BumpaGo and can’t wait to do more together.
If you’re a local business looking to connect, collaborate, or bring some 3D printing magic to your space, let’s chat. The possibilities are endless.
